    Although I loved the beauty of the surrounding, I was dissappointed by the lack of service. It seemed that once they got my business, they were just eager to move on to the next customer and not answer my questions about the area. How unfortunate.

    Friends and I stayed at Country Inn twice. Each time there was a mix-up with our hotel/rafting packages, which almost screwed-up our plans. The staff was nice, and eventually everything worked out.We reserved 4 suites for 8 guests. The suites were nice and clean, but small?probably not worth the extra $$. The complimentary breakfast was so-so. The dining room was small and poorly laid out.Still, this is basically a good, no-frills hotel. Except for the reservation mix-ups, I'd stay there again. It was a good location at a good price for our rafting getaway. Definitely worth a visit.

    We chose Country Inn primarily b/c of its close location and package deal w/ Pocono Whitewater. Staff was very friendly and helpful, but somewhat confused about the package details. And, due to that we almost lost our rafting reservation!! Fortunately, the manager made a call on our behalf and straightened out the problem. I was satisfied. Room was clean and adequate, but a little small to be called a ""suite"". Breakfast was suitable, but dining area was small and hard to maneuver; a better layout needed. Still and overall, a decent place to stay. Perfect for a quick over-nighter.
